Adult Learning

There could be many reasons you want to study as an adult. You may want to develop your existing skills, learn something new, choose to gain qualifications to advance in your career or simply study for fun. Fortunately there are many opportunities for adults to continue to learn locally or through distance learning. We have included some website and contact details of local and distance providers who will hopefully provide a course that meets your needs below.

We also have many adults asking how they can gain their early years qualification. We appreciate it can be very difficult to get the qualifications you need in this area once you are an adult. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering and studying at the same time and we may be able to help you.

Adults interested in doing a paid Apprenticeship with us should contact Paul on (01823) 664323 or send us an email.

Several of us at Bouncy Bear have studied with the Open University to get the qualifications we wanted. Please be aware this is a distance learning qualification and you will need to motivate yourself to meet deadlines for assignments etc. It is however very flexible and you can study around your day to day responsibilities. You will need to check the fees for each course, the finance options and the repayment expectations.
